Accra, Ghana , November 14 – 16, 2014. You might want to include that date in your calendar of events. The GhanaThink Foundation has something planned out that just might pique your interest.

In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Ghana, The GhanaThink Foundation, a youth-led NGO based in Ghana and the US, is organizing TechCamp West Africa, an opportunity to create and develop a lasting network of change agents to increase regional communication, coordination, and ultimately trade across West Africa. The idea is to convene some of the most influential, innovative and impactful young people in West Africa for a weekend in Accra, Ghana where they will exchange ideas, actions and projects.

If you are an entrepreneur between the ages of 25 – 35 years, are resident in West Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria and Togo), have made positive impact in your neighbourhood or community and what to be part of an even greater community,  TechCamp West Africa might just be for you. Together with private sector experts, participants will explore obstacles to small business growth and share best practices for private and social entrepreneurs for solving regional challenges through idea-sharing, collaboration, partnership and learning.

Intrigued? Apply to be part of TechCamp West Africa at techcampwestafrica.org before August 15. Applicants will be vetted and short-listed to 100 participants.
